2. Service Description

DTJ is a web-based trading journal application that helps traders track, analyze, and manage their trading activities. Our service includes:

• Trade logging and portfolio management with CSV/Excel import
• Advanced performance analytics and reporting with real-time KPIs
• Tax form generation and compliance reporting
• Real-time market data integration via Yahoo Finance API
• AI-powered trade analysis and insights
• Secure email verification system for account registration
• GDPR-compliant data management and user controls
• Multi-account trading support with data isolation

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information updated.

4. Subscription and Payment

DTJ offers subscription-based services with Pro and Yearly Pro plans. Payment is processed securely through PayPal's encrypted payment system and is billed annually unless otherwise specified.

We offer a 7-day free trial period for new users after email verification. Subscription cancellation is available at any time with continued access until the end of your billing period. Promo codes are available for special offers and discounts including beta launch promotions.

5. Data Privacy and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your trading data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and stored securely in an SQLite database with complete user data isolation. We do not share your personal trading information with third parties without your explicit consent.

All user accounts are protected by bcrypt password hashing, email verification requirements, and comprehensive data validation. We maintain strict GDPR compliance with user data retention policies and deletion rights.

6. Limitation of Liability

While DTJ generates tax forms (T5008, 1099-B) based on your trading data, these are for reference only. You should consult with a qualified tax professional for proper tax filing and compliance.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use DTJ to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Share false or misleading information
• Attempt to breach security or interfere with the service
• Use the service for any automated or bulk operations without permission

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or through the application.
